Ask for it. Vote for it. Report it.

Two public boards decide what gets built next. Feature requests is the roadmap: post an idea, upvote the ones you want. Bug reports is where broken things go. No account, no e-mail; one vote per person, per item. The Feedback page inside the app shows the same boards, so you can post from either side.

// How it works

Three things you can do here

✨ REQUEST

Post a feature idea

One idea per post, a title that says what it does, details if the why matters. It shows up on the board immediately.

▲ VOTE

Upvote what you want

The board sorts by votes. One vote per person per item; your browser remembers what you voted for. Votes are the roadmap.

🐞 REPORT

Report a bug

Switch to the Bug reports tab. Say what you did, what happened, and what you expected. The checklist below makes it fixable in one go.

What happens next: I read every post. Requests with votes behind them move up the list; bugs get fixed in the next release and noted in the changelog. The board is public and anonymous, so keep it civil; spam gets removed.

// Writing a useful bug report

Five lines that get it fixed

Most bugs are fixed the same day when the report has these. Without them it turns into a guessing game.

  1. Version: the App page shows it, top left. The installer is v2.2.0 right now.
  2. What you did: the page, the button, the hotkey, the raid if it matters.
  3. What happened versus what you expected.
  4. Whether it repeats: every time, sometimes, once.
  5. Setup when it might matter: monitors, GPU for recorder issues, Tarkov screen mode.
App log%APPDATA%\EFTHelper\ui_debug.log
Recorder log%APPDATA%\EFTHelper\rec.log
Settings%APPDATA%\EFTHelper\config.json
RecordingsVideos\EFT Helper

The logs contain nothing personal: page names, timings and error traces. Paste the last lines into the report when something crashed.

// FAQ

Board questions

Do I need an account to post or vote?

No. Posting is anonymous; voting uses a random id your browser keeps so the board can hold you to one vote per item. Nothing else is stored.

Can I post from inside the app?

Yes. The Feedback page in the app is the same board, both directions.

Where do I see what got done?

The changelog. Each release lists the fixes and the features it shipped.

I found a security or privacy problem.

Post it on the bug board with "security" in the title, or reach me on Ko-fi. Those go first.
